What the job involves.
Siding is part of what we handle on weather-related damage, alongside roofing, gutters and windows. Hail on a west-facing elevation cracks and holes siding the same afternoon it bruises the roof, and wind strips it where the nailing was marginal.
The elevation it hits is rarely the one you look at. Hail comes in on the wind, so the damage concentrates on whichever face took the storm, and on a house that is frequently a side wall or a rear elevation nobody sees from the street. An inspection that covers all four elevations is what puts it on the scope.
How It Works

Call and we set up a detailed inspection with a certified hail, wind and storm inspector. It costs nothing whether or not there is a claim in it.
File the claim
If we find damage, you sign our contract for us to work with your insurer, then you file. Send us the adjuster details and we set up the appointment.
Meet the adjuster on the roof
We are there to represent you. Afterwards the insurer sends you paperwork, and you forward it to us before signing so the scope can be checked.
Install and final inspection
Colors chosen, old roof off and disposed of, new system and ventilation on, the site swept, and a final inspection to close it out.
The Difference
Where these jobs go wrong.
Matching is the practical problem on a partial replacement. Siding profiles and colors are discontinued regularly and existing siding has faded, so a patch on a visible elevation can be more noticeable than the damage was. Whether to replace an elevation rather than a section is a decision worth making before the material is ordered rather than after.

Is siding damage part of a roof claim?
It is part of the same claim on the same policy, provided the same event caused it. That is why the inspection walks all four elevations rather than only the roof.
Can you match my existing siding?
Sometimes. Profiles get discontinued and color fades, so on a visible elevation a full-elevation replacement often looks better than a patch. We will tell you which yours is at the estimate.
What kinds of siding do you work with?
The common residential materials in this area: fiber cement, vinyl, wood and composite board. What is on your house and what it will take to match it is part of the inspection.
How is siding hail damage identified?
Cracks radiating from a point of impact, holes through vinyl, and chipping on fiber cement, concentrated on the elevation the storm came from.
