What the job involves.

The value added services cover the range a commercial building needs: shingles, built-up, modified bitumen, EPDM single-ply, thermoplastics and gutter systems. A strip center with a shingle mansard over a low-slope field needs two of those on the same building, which is the usual reason a commercial roof gets quoted by three companies and comes back three different scopes.
How It Works
Free inspection
Call and we set up a detailed inspection with a certified hail, wind and storm inspector. It costs nothing whether or not there is a claim in it.
File the claim
If we find damage, you sign our contract for us to work with your insurer, then you file. Send us the adjuster details and we set up the appointment.
Meet the adjuster on the roof
We are there to represent you. Afterwards the insurer sends you paperwork, and you forward it to us before signing so the scope can be checked.
Install and final inspection
Colors chosen, old roof off and disposed of, new system and ventilation on, the site swept, and a final inspection to close it out.
The Difference
Where these jobs go wrong.
The roofing is the easy half of a commercial job. Tenants keep trading while the work happens, deliveries still arrive, and a parking lot that doubles as a staging area has to stay usable. Those constraints get planned before the crew arrives rather than discovered on the first morning.
Commercial roofs take storm damage on the same policies homes do, and the claim runs the same way. The scope is larger, the units on the roof matter more, and the documentation has to account for equipment curbs, exhaust fans and skylights as well as the field of the roof.

Can you work around our business hours?
Yes, and it gets planned up front. Tear-off is the loud part and it can usually be scheduled around the hours that matter most to your tenants or your customers.
Do you handle the rooftop equipment?
Curbs, flashing and the detail around rooftop mechanical units, exhaust fans and skylights are part of the roof. The units themselves belong to your mechanical contractor, and the two jobs have to be coordinated on a replacement.
How long does a commercial re-roof take?
Days to weeks depending on the square footage, the system and the weather window. Low-slope work needs dry conditions to go down properly, so a wet spring stretches a schedule.
Do you provide a scope we can put out to bid?
We quote the work and set out what is included. Comparing bids on a commercial roof is largely a matter of checking that all three cover the same decking allowance, the same flashing detail and the same warranty.
Can a commercial roof go on a storm claim?
Yes. Hail and wind damage on a commercial building is a covered loss on most policies, and the process is the same one described on the insurance claim page.
